Theoretical Modeling of a Magnetic Loop Antenna for Ultra Wide Band Application
The functionality of an improved magnetic loop antenna (MLA) is a prominent research which has
span almost three decades. Its shape and size had metaphorsize from the usual analogue to a digital
device-which is now used for experiments in space. In this paper, the application of MLA for ultra wide
band (UWB) design was proposed. A new concept was introduced -angular displacement theory which
was used to mitigate fading in multipath propagation
Lightning a Fundamental of Atmospheric Electricity
This paper discussed briefly the basic connection between lightning phenomena and atmospheric electricity.
Characteristics pertaining to lightning discharges were reviewed in order to elucidate some elementary mystics that are
still associated with lightning events in some parts of the world and that lightning strike when and where it will. Various
lightning protection principles were discussed. The essence of lightning protection device is to prevent lightning strikes
from taking place over or around an installation or structure
Mathematical Modelling of Bloch NMR to Explain the Rashba Energy Features
The Bloch NMR as an analytical tool was able to address the fundamental features in the learning of spintronics. Beside confirming past assertions on the Rashba spin-orbit interaction, thermal motion of hole and electron spin and features of the quantum well, it was also able to explain the condition necessary for Rashba splitting within the quantum well. When the Rashba energy is 43 meV, it modified the Ehrenfest’s theorem to hold for an external magnetic field. The confinement potential which is the strength of the Rashba spin-orbit interaction was shown to be controlled magneti-cally
Theoretical Forecast of the Health Implications of Citing Nuclear Power Plant in Nigeria
Uranium is vital to nuclear power generation. Its hazard is a formidable threat to life forms. A small portion of a regional land mass - not known for uranium mining was analyzed to examine the risk of future environmental pollution when the proposed nuclear plant is cited in the country. The bye product of the spot deposition of uranium over the environs of Ewekoro was theoretically examined. Though the radioactive pollution within the region is normal compared to other regions of Nigeria, constructing a nuclear power plant without acknowledging the radioactive data could be suicidal for the life forms in any part of the country
Monitoring and Prediction of Earthquakes using Simulated Temperature Deviation Curve Model
The use of thermal anomaly to monitor or predict earthquakes has shown little success. Various methods have been propounded to monitor earthquakes with little emphasis on fundamental soil quantities. This paper propounded a vital factor- soil density ratio which can be used to monitor earthquakes. The magnitude of earthquakes was discovered to increase when the soil bulk density decreases very low. The dynamics of the heat flow was also discussed with respect to the soil density ratio. The importance of the temperature deviation curve to predict both short term and long term earthquakes were discussed with respect to time
A Model for Analyzing Temperature Profiles in Pipe Walls and Fluids Using Mathematical Experimentation
Temperature profiling in both fluid and pipe walls had not been explained theoretically. The equations of energy balance and heat
conductivity were queried by introducing known parameters to solve heat transfer using virtual mathematical experimentation.
This was achieved by remodeling Poiseuille’s equation. Distribution of temperature profiles between pipe wall, fluid flow, and
surrounding air was investigated and validated upon comparison with experimental results. A new dimensionless parameter
(unified number (U)) was introduced with the aim of solving known errors of the Reynolds and Nusselts number
Volcanic Eruption Trends in the FiveYears PreEruption Era
Predicting volcanic eruption and magmatic transports is a global research. In this study, the tem
perature deviation curve model and temperature polynomial expansion scheme was used to calculate the
timescale of an active preeruption process. Satellite imagery within the timescale was harvested to further
corroborate the findings
Forecasting Hydrological Disaster Using Environmental Thermographic Modeling
Theconcept of thermographic model is new to environmental studies. Itsmode of operation is fairly synonymous to the operational
technique of the regular thermography machine.Thelocation of the study area is between latitudes 8∘2
Modeling of Generic Air Pollution Dispersion Analysis from Cement Factory
Air pollution from cement factory is classified as one of the sources of air pollution. The control of the air pollution by addressing the wind field dynamics was the main
objective of the paper. The dynamics of dispersion showed a three way flow which was calculated and explained accordingly. The 3D model showed good level of accuracy by
determining field values of air deposited pollutants. Mean concentration of diffusing pollutants was shown to be directly proportional to the plume angular displacement. The 2D model explained the details of the wind field dynamics and proffers a solution which may be
relevant in controlling air pollution from anthropogenic source
